Ethan Stair
Camp Director
Ethan Stair began his career at Elite Hoops Basketball in April of 2023.
He is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, where he attended Hazel Green High School. In his senior year in 2015, he was selected to the 7A 1 st Team All-State team and was a McDonald’s All-American Alabama State Nominee. He finished his high school career with over 1500 points and 1000 rebounds.
Stair would continue his basketball career at Mercer University. His senior year, he averaged
nearly 15 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game. He was a 2-time SoCon Player of the
Week, SoCon Player of the Month, and an All-Southern Conference selection. Stair finished his career at Mercer as a 1000-point scorer and ranks top 10 in school history in minutes played, 3-point field goals made, rebounds, and steals.
Off the court, Stair was a member of the Southern Conference Honor Roll from 2015 to 2020, selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honor Court in 2018, and was nominated for the National Senior CLASS Award in 2020. He graduated from Mercer in 2020 holding three degrees, including a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Higher Education Leadership.
Stair looks to bring his passion, knowledge, and love of the game to the EHB family.
