Haley Book

Haley (Chambers) Book joined the IU Southeast softball coaching staff in June 2022.
Book was a standout pitcher at NCAA Division I SIU-Edwardsville from 2013-17. She was a two-time Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2015 and 2017. She remains the program's leader in career strikeouts with 979. She is second in wins with 89 and third with 33 shutouts.
She was a four-time all-conference selection and three-time All-Mideast Region honoree and was a three-time member of the OVC All-Tournament team.
After graduating, she was the 14th overall pick in the 2017 NPF Draft by the Texas Charge. Book was the head softball coach at North Harrison High School from 2018-21. She is currently the co-head coach of the Fusion Elite '06 team and is a pitching instructor.
Book graduated from SIU-Edwardsville with a degree in Applied Communications Studies with a minor in Mass Communications.
