Hudson Welty
Camp Director
Hudson Welty is NBC Camp Director for Boys Overnight Camp at SEU. Welty is currently in his first season as the head coach of the Southeastern University Men's Basketball Program. Welty has previously spent time as an assistant at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, Arizona Christian University in Phoenix, Arizona, Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, and Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
In just 7 years, Welty has coached 8 NAIA All-Americans, 15+ All-Conference players, and been a part of 6 National Tournament teams, including a Final Four appearance in the 2021-2022 season. His teams have won a combined 7 conference championships (regular season and tournament), and won over 100 games competing deep into March.
During his coaching tenure, Welty has recruited all over the United States with emphasis on the Midwest, Southeast, and the West Coast. He has also led camps for 1,000's of young basketball players of all ages looking to grow on and off the court. Welty loves helping young players grow in their fundamentals and love for the game!
As a player, Welty was a four-year starter at MidAmerica Nazarene and was a three-year captain which included a trip to the national semifinal.
