Jack O'Reilly
Assistant Coach
Jack O’Reilly enters his first season as the Graduate Assistant Coach. Coaching responsibilities: 1st base coach, Infield/Outfield Defensive Coach, Assistant Hitting Coach, In game defensive positioning coach and Baseball Camp Director.
Playing career: A four-year starter, O’Reilly had 746 career at bats, while playing in every game during his tenure as a Wildcat. Showing his versatility playing both infield and outfield, Jack’s leadership as a two-time captain has put him in a strong position to mentor the 2024-2025 players. Jack most recently played for the MLB Draft League, where he led the Trenton Thunder in numerous categories, including a .332 average with an .833 OPS.
Big East Honor Roll and Big East Player of the Week highlight an impressive career that included 4 time Big East All Academic Team, and an 8 time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
Jack received a B.S. in Finance from the Villanova School of Business and is currently completing his Master of Education
