Jack Ryan
Assistant Coach
Once a trustworthy backstop for the Panthers, Jack Ryan will now spend time mentoring the Adelphi baseball student-athletes as an assistant coach in 2023.
Ryan's playing career spanned five years (2018-22) at Adelphi, which included an NE10 Tournament final appearance and two NCAA Tournament bids.
He batted a career .258 and produced a lifetime .358 on-base percentage. Across 127 total games, Ryan amassed 89 hits and scored 52 runs, while committing only eight errors in the field.
In 2021, Ryan was named to the NE10 All-Conference Third Team, after batting a career-high .345 with three home runs and 27 RBIs. That year, Ryan captained Adelphi to an NE10 Championship final appearance -- the program's first since 2014.
As a student, Ryan consistently kept his grade point average above a 3.0, and in 2021, he was recognized to the NE10 Academic All-Conference Team.
Ryan now attends Hofstra University, where he is working towards his law degree.
