Jake Koolbeck

Jake Koolbeck joined the Kohawk softball team as an assistant coach in 2016. In the fall of 2019, he also was named Assistant Sports Information Director for Coe College.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities at Coe, Koolbeck is heading into his 3 rd season as Head Coach at Iowa City Regina. In his first season at Regina, he lead the Regals to a 2 nd place finish at the Iowa State High School Softball tournament. Prior to the Regina position, Jake directed the Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School program in their fall and spring seasons from 2010 – 2017 and, previous to that, was a varsity assistant at Solon and Clear Creek-Amana.

Coach Koolbeck graduated from Coe College in 2017 with a degree in Physical Education and Fitness Development.
