• 5A honorable mention all-state honors as a senior
• Helped the Tigers capture their third-consecutive state championship
• Finished his senior year with 38 tackles and six interceptions
• Broke up 29 passes
• Also caught 14 passes for 343 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver
• Returned two kickoffs for 145 yards, including a 95-yarder for a touchdown
• Also played basketball and was a member of the track & field team.
