Coach Jeff Dicus is an award-winning football coach whose innovative and extensive instruction has proven time and time again to be results-oriented. Best known as the original architect of Lake Travis' state championship-winning program, he brings a strong emphasis on player development, performance improvement and a deep appreciaton of reaching young athletes to this special Nike Sports camp.
Coach Dicus has a long and storied history in the football world as a 3x All-Star coach, 2x Dallas Cowboys Coach of the week, National Strength Coach of the Year, Rio Grade Valley Coach of the Year, and the Texas Sports Writer Coach of the Year. Dicus has won state championships with Bishop Heelan (WR/special teams coach), Texas City (assistant head coach, OC, and QB coach), and of course Lake Travis where he was the Head Coach. Growth and advancement through leadership development and understanding of the game are important aspects of Dicus' coaching philosophy. Coach Dicus is currently the Head Coach and Athletic Director at St. Michael's Catholic Academy in Austin, TX.
