Nike Junior Golf Camps Jennifer Bermingham 1

Jennifer Bermingham is a PGA and LPGA Class A Member and serves as camp director for the Nike Junior Golf Camps at Coto De Caza Golf & Racquet Club.

Jennifer Bermingham was born and raised in Long Beach, California where she developed a love for the game at an early age. Growing up with two competitive brothers kept her striving to continually beat them at golf.

After a successful Junior Golf career, Jennifer received a full golf scholarship to attend UC-Riverside. In her first year, she was named Big West Freshman of the Year and won 6 collegiate individual titles overall in her four years on the team while earning her degree in Political Science. During her college career, she also won the 2008 California Women’s Championship.

During Jennifer’s time at UCR, she developed a strong desire to help other people learn the game she loved. Following graduation, she set up her golf instruction business at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach.

In addition to teaching men, women, and kids in individual and group lessons, Jennifer started one of the most successful LPGA USGA Girls Golf programs in the country. This program is designed as a way for girls to learn golf in a safe, fun, empowering environment. Jennifer was recognized for her efforts with the 2015 LPGA USGA Sandy LaBauve Spirit Award which honors the Site Director of the Year and the 2018 LPGA Western Section Junior Leader of the Year. Jennifer’s Girls Golf program was also featured by the USGA during US Women’s Open and other USGA broadcast this past summer in a video featurette.

In 2016, Jennifer played in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, a major championship on the LPGA Tour, at Sahalee CC in Seattle where she earned Low Club Professional honors as the first teaching professional to make the cut since 2007.

She teaches national clinics with the PGA Golf Clinics for Women, LPGA Leadership Academy, LPGA USGA Girls Golf Academy and has taught golf clinics for both the LPGA and Symetra Tour.

She loves to play golf but her true passion is teaching and player development. She joined the Coto team in September of 2018 at a PGA and LPGA Class A Teaching Professional and looks forward to helping you with your game.
