Jeremy Snow

Jeremy Snow was named the head coach of the Northland College baseball program in May of 2020 and is entering his second season.

Prior to Northland, Snow spent a year as an assistant coach at the University of Northwestern Ohio, where he served as the lead infield coach and assistant hitting coach. The Racers were 8-12 prior to the COVID-19 shutdown and finished the season with the #1 strength of schedule in the nation.

Before UNOH, Snow joined the Lourdes University baseball coaching staff as an assistant coach in July of 2012 and spent three seasons in that role prior to his promotion to being the head coach before the 2016 season.

In 2018, Snow guided the Gray Wolves to their first appearance in school history in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament, as Lourdes won a school-record 22 games and finished the regular season above .500 for the first time ever. The 2018 season also marked the first time in program history Lourdes had produced a First Team All-WHAC honoree and a Second Team All-WHAC selection. Three players were named Second Team All-WHAC in 2019, marking the most post-season All-WHAC award winners in a single year.

The 2016 WHAC Champions of Character Coach, Snow had a player named Honorable Mention All-WHAC in 2016, while four student-athletes have been named to the WHAC Gold Glove Team during his tenure. In 2019, Jay Denman won the ABCA NAIA National Gold Glove Award for his work in Left Field. He also has produced five WHAC Players or Pitchers of the Week.

In the classroom, Snow helped produce 18 WHAC All-Academic Team selections while 13 players have been named NAIA Scholar-Athletes. In addition, the program was a NAIA Scholar Team in 2015-2016 and 2017-2018.

Snow also spent time as Lourdes first head men’s cross country coach, charged with starting the program for the 2013 season. He served in the head coaching role through the 2014 season.

The Gray Wolves’ cross country program began with six races during their first two seasons, concluding with a pair 10th place finishes at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships. Snow produced a WHAC Runner of the Week in 2013 as well as a pair of the WHAC Champions of Character Team members during his time at the helm. His 2013-2014 squad was named a NAIA Scholar Team and he produced a WHAC All-Academic Team selection and a NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 2014.

Snow arrived at Lourdes after serving as the graduate assistant at Siena Heights University in 2010 and 2011. While at Siena Heights, Snow assisted in team defense and worked with the hitters. SHU saw dramatic increases in offense in 2012 as the team improved its batting average by 50 points during his time with the Saints. The team ranked in the top-five in numerous offensive categories on the Saints all-time season lists.

Snow was able to coach eight different players to All Conference honors at Siena Heights, including three First Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference recipients, five Honorable Mention picks and the 2012 WHAC Player of the Year. Snow also coached two Rawlings NAIA National Gold Glove Award winners and one NAIA All-American Honorable Mention.

Snow was also in charge of the academic monitoring and study program at Siena Heights and three student-athletes were honored as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes and six players who were selected to the WHAC All-Academic Team.

Snow earned his bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Northland College in business administration, where he was a four-year starter for the Lumberjacks. He earned his master’s degree in organizational leadership at Siena Heights in 2012.
