Jonathan Stark

Jonathan Stark is the director of Oregon Elite Tennis and brings with him a wealth of on-court tennis knowledge and competitive tennis experience.

Jonathan Stark is the director of Oregon Elite Tennis and brings with him a wealth of on-court tennis knowledge and competitive tennis experience. He is from Medford, OR and competed in the the PNW as a junior obtaining many USTA National titles. Stark was a singles and doubles All-American at Stanford University and won a National team title in 1990. He competed on the ATP Tour from 1991-2002, reaching the #1 world ranking in doubles and #36 in singles. He holds two ATP singles titles and 19 ATP doubles titles, including the French Open Doubles in 1994 (with Byron Black) and Wimbledon Mixed Doubles in 1995 (with Martina Navratilova). Stark was a member of the US Davis Cup team and has also been a member of the ATP Tour Council. He has served as the Director of Junior Development at the Seattle Tennis Club and volunteer assistant coach at University of Washington and Lewis & Clark. He was inducted into the USTA PNW, ITA and Oregon Sports Hall of Fames.
