From 2008 through 2016, Beauregard led the Eckerd softball program and became the school's all-time wins leader amassing over 150 victories along the way. His most successful run came in his last three seasons, setting single-season wins records in 2014 (27) and again in 2015 (33). His 2016 team won 29 games, the second most in program history. He began his association with Eckerd softball in 2005 as an assistant coach before being promoted to head coach following the 2007 spring season.

SSC Conference Championship: 2019

It did not take long before Beauregard led a team that made Eckerd history. In only his third season, he led the Tritons to the Sunshine State Conference championship. It was EC's first SSC crown since 1981. The team also qualified for the NCAA South Regional Tournament for the first time since 1987. The efforts earned Beauregard honors as Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year and South Region Coach of the Year.
His first season at the helm proved to be successful as the Tritons recorded the second-highest number of wins in conference play since 2004. The season also saw sophomore Nick Conti put together a 35-game on-base streak and earn All-SSC and All-Region honors.
In 2023, Eckerd posted a 21-0 win over Palm Beach Atlantic, the most runs over an SSC opponent since at least 1998.
In 2024, Beauregard guided relief pitcher Gavin Grubbs to a 9-2 mark, the most wins by a pitcher in a season during his tenure and ranking 10th in single season program records.

In the 2019 season, four players (Garrett Hiott, Dillon McCollough, Mitch Calandra, Nick Conti) selected in the Major League Baseball Draft in 2019, tying for the most of any program in NCAA Division II. McCollough earned All-American honors as a pitcher while Hiott, Calandra, and Chase Achuff earned All-Region honors.
In a shortened 2020 season, third baseman Mitch Donofrio was named the NCBWA National Hitter of the Week. His team also earned the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for the first time ever.

Beauregard, a native of Keene, New Hampshire, graduated from Eckerd in 2003 and remains one of the top players in Triton baseball history, playing under legendary head coach Bill Mathews. His outstanding senior season saw Beauregard hit .396 with 80 base hits and 35 stolen bases in 38 attempts. Between single-season and career records, Beauregard ranks in the top 10 in 18 offensive categories and is the program's career leader in stolen bases with 85.
After his playing career at Eckerd came to a close, Beauregard spent five seasons in the minor league and independent circuits. In 2005, he hit .293 with 11 home runs and 26 stolen bases for Worcester of the CanAm League. He also played two years in the Oakland Athletics farm system.
In addition to success on the field, Beauregard's teams have emphasized success in the classroom with large numbers of student-athletes recognized as Sunshine State Conference Honor Roll recipients and NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes.
Beauregard graduated in 2003 from Eckerd with a degree in Business Management and Athletic Administration.
He and his wife, Jennifer -- a former Eckerd softball player -- have two sons, Connor and Colton, and a daughter, Charlee Marie.
