Julia Poca

Julia Poca serves as assistant coach for the Bowling Green State University men’s golf program.

In her first year on staff in 2013-14, Poca was instrumental in helping the Falcons men’s golf program host the inaugural Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational event at The Greenbrier’s Old White TPC Golf Course in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The three-day event included not only seven intercollegiate men’s golf teams competing in 54-holes of play, but it also incorporated a “BGSU College-AM” event prior to the start of the tournament, as well as a banquet as part of the alumni festivities over the weekend.

Poca, who is from Swanton, Ohio, is currently attending BGSU and majoring in Telecommunications. She decided to become part of the Falcon family because she immediately fell in love with that campus, which also allowed her to be close to her family and friends.
