Directing camp this summer will be Kaitlyn Hafdell!

Kaitlyn Hafdell was introduced as Millersville's women's lacrosse head coach on August 16, 2022. Hafdell, a 2014 graduate of Slippery Rock, came to Millersville after taking Southwestern University to record-setting heights over three seasons.

In her first season at Millersville, Hafdell led the Marauders to a winning season with a 9-8 record and placed four Marauders on the All-PSAC East teams. Excelling in the classroom as well, 16 of Hafdell's players earned PSAC Scholar-Athlete honors, and Taiyana Goldsborough earned CSC Academic All-District honors.

At Southwestern, despite two shortened seasons, Hafdell produced a 23-11 record. In 2022, her club set a school record for wins with a 13-3 record. Hafdell also led Southwestern to back-to-back Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship games.

Hafdell was an assistant coach for the Rhodes College Lynx three seasons, helping to lead the team to three consecutive SAA conference championships and two NCAA Sweet 16 round qualifiers (2017, 2018). During her time there, Rhodes earned its first-ever No. 1 regional ranking (2018) and the program's first All-American (2018).

Prior to that, Hafdell was the lacrosse head coach at St. Joseph's High School in Greenville, South Carolina for the 2015-16 school year. During that time, she was also the head coach for the club team Greenlight Lacrosse.

Hafdell graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health and a minor in Coaching. As a student-athlete, she was named Team MVP, Defensive Leader, and all-conference in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
