Kat Polyviou

Katarina (Kat) Polyviou is the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Muhlenburg College.
Katarina Polyviou joined the Muhlenberg coaching staff in 2020 following a stellar four-year career as a goalie at nearby DeSales University.
Polyviou was named to the All-MAC Freedom team all four years, earning all-region second-team honors in 2017. She started 77 games in goal and set Bulldog records for goals-against average (1.89) and shutouts (14) in a career. Polyviou ranks second all-time with 424 career saves and holds the top two single-season marks for goals-against average, 1.30 in 2018 and 1.37 in 2017. She was named national defensive player of the week in 2017.
Polyviou graduated from DeSales in 2020 with a degree in sport management. She also serves as an assistant coach for the Muhlenberg women's basketball team
