Katarina Adamovic

Katarina Adamovic was named the eighth head coach in University of Houston Tennis history in June 2024, after leading Grand Canyon University to back-to-back WAC Tournament titles and the 2024 WAC Regular Season Championship. Her tenure at GCU also saw the Lopes reach the NCAA Tournament twice and achieve their highest-ever ITA ranking of No. 49.
In 2024, Adamovic coached Natasha Puehse to WAC Player of the Year and helped Santa Strombacha set a GCU Division I record with 22 singles wins. She also led GCU to an undefeated record in conference play and coached six All-WAC honorees.
A native of Cacak, Serbia, Adamovic previously served as assistant coach at Cincinnati (2018-21) and Missouri (2021-22). As a player at Oklahoma State, she was a four-time Big 12 All-Conference selection, led the Cowgirls to two Big 12 Championships, and was named NCAA Tournament MVP in 2016. Adamovic ranks No. 1 in doubles win percentage at OSU and has 75 singles and 91 doubles victories to her name.
