Katie McCarthy

Katie McCarthy is a certified yoga instructor and the Clinical Director of Haven Youth and Family Services, an adolescent mental health facility in Wilmette, IL. She completed her yoga teacher training at Yogaview Wilmette in 2014 after practicing for over a decade. She teaches yoga to adolescents in the North Shore at various schools through her position at Haven.

Katie appreciates yoga’s ability to keep one grounded and in the present moment. Her classes have focused on helping the youth in the North Shore find their center amongst academic, athletic and social stressors. She has two young kids who already love to practice yoga before bedtime.
