Kelly Wiedemann

Kelly Wiedemann joins Casper College after serving as a graduate assistant at Northwest Missouri State University.
Wiedemann helped win the first Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Conference Championship in program history, as well as making it to the NCAA Regional Tournament.
Before Northwest, Wiedemann was a student-athlete at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Wiedemann helped the program achieve the most conference wins in the program’s D1 era, as well as capturing Big South All-Conference honors in 2021.
Wiedemann began her playing career at Missouri State University-West Plains. While at MSU-WP, Wiedemann helped win a Region XVI title. Wiedemann was also named a NJCAA Second Team All-American in 2018 and 2019.
Wiedemann brings several attributes to the game of volleyball. Her focus is skill development, floor defense, and serve receive. Her knowledge of the sport is very high, which will help with opponent scouting and film breakdown. Wiedemann is knowledgeable when it comes to stats analyses that will improve skill and game development. Her experience at the different levels gives her the ability to connect and recruit the student-athletes.
Wiedemann obtained a master’s degree in applied health and sport science from Northwest Missouri State University and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
