Kendrick Biggs - Head Coach

Kendrick Biggs enters his fifth season as head coach and is in his seventh year coaching at Wiley College.

Last season, he led the Wildcats to a 19-27 record with eight wins coming during Red River Athletic Conference play. Wiley College won at least a game in seven of its nine conference series. Justice Brown and Tyler Baumann earned Red River Athletic Conference Second Team All-Conference. Roman Sorrell was Black College Nines Small School Freshman of the Year and Second Team Selection. Ruben Hancock was a first team selection. Garrett Barber, Darian Fleming, Dorian Lewis and Baumann went on to play in the Pecos League.

In 2018, he led the Wildcats to a 16-24 record. Wiley College won conference series against Our Lady of the Lake University and Louisiana State University-Alexandria. The Wildcats beat LSU-Shreveport for the first time since 2014 and Jarvis Christian College for the first time since 2015. Justice Brown and Tyler Baumann earned Red River Athletic Conference Second Team All-Conference.

In 2017, he led Wiley College to nine victories. He led the Wildcats to a 16-34 record in his first season. Biggs had a Red River Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference designated hitter Oswaldo Palacios. Erick Magee, Daniel Rojas, Emmanuel Pantaleon and Trevor Spear were second team All-Conference. Magee went on to play in the Pecos League.

He is a 1999 graduate of Wiley College and graduated from Marshall High school in 1993. Biggs is Married to Lekeitha for 22 years and has 3 kids, Keith, Christian Biggs and Kerrigan.

Biggs coached at Marshall Junior High. He has been the Head coach of the Texas Drillers travel ball for eight years along with the Marshall Longhorns and the East Texas Sports. In 2012 he led the Marshall Majors All-Stars to the Texas Dixie High School state championship, where they went on to finish 3rd at the World Series in Guntersville Alabama. He has been the president of Marshall youth baseball for 12 years and has served on many education boards for Marshall ISD. Biggs loves the game of baseball. His favorite phrase is " Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent ".
