Kenneth Gilchrist

Kenneth Gilchrist is a Campus Coordinator/Head Football Coach in the Frisco Independent School District.
He played high school football at Cameron Yoe in Cameron, Texas. After graduating in 1992, he continued his playing career at Cisco Jr. College playing as an offensive lineman. From Cisco, he finished his playing career at Louisiana Tech in 1996. In 1996. He was voted the James Wayne Smith most outstanding Offensive Lineman at Louisiana Tech, having not given up a single sack in 456 pass attempts.
Kenneth started his coaching and teaching career in 1998 in Joshua, Texas as the Offensive Line and Defensive Line coach. He has had coaching stops in Hempstead, Cameron Yoe, Lake Travis, and Duncanville. From Duncanville, he received his first Athletic Director / Head Football coaching position in 2008. He has had head coaching stops in Whitney, Caldwell, and now as the Head Coach of the Frisco Heritage Coyotes.
While at Lake Travis, Kenneth was a part of their first ever Football State Championship in 2007. He was also voted as coach of the year in 2014 for district 9-3A. Kenneth has had the great fortune to coach many great players who have gone on to play at the colligate and NFL level.
