Aidien Kyran Davis-Howard is known on basketball circuit as Ky Howard. He is the son of Maurice “Mo” Howard and Joanne Howard. As a former student-athlete loving the game of basketball, he emphasizes the value of education. He is not only a great player on the court, but a passionate human being off the court. Today, he is employed as an assistant coach at St. Joseph Preparatory School in Philadelphia and a coach with the AAU team Philly Pride. When he is not working on the court, he is working off the court to feed the many homeless within the City.

His knowledge of the game of basketball coupled with his skills are instrumental in restructuring several teams commencing with The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania allowing them to become a formidable competitive team within the Friends League. Upon graduating in 2010, he nurtured his talent at St. Thomas Moore Preparatory School in Connecticut. Standing only 6’4” in height, he would be labeled “monster rebounder from the back court” and in 2012, he would receive the Spaulding Hoop Hall Classic Most Outstanding Player Award to be followed by the Player of the Year Award. At the end of that year, he had 347 Ttl. Pts/82 Ttl. Asts./187 Ttl. Rebs./119 2Pt./7 3 Pts.

In 2012, he would join the D1 Conference, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Men’s Basketball Team. His four-year career earned the following acknowledgements:

  • ● Set NJIT single-season assist record (154); led team in scoring 6 times; rebounding 4 times; assists 22 times.
  • ● 416 assists ranked first in the NJIT D1 era and third all-time. Tied 54th in the nation in assists among NCAA Division 1 active career leaders.
  • ● 535 rebounds ranked third in the NJIT D1 era.
  • ● 1139 career points ranked fifth in the NJIT D1 era.

Graduating in 2016 with a BS in Business Administration, he would be drafted by the Greensboro Swarms, an NBA G-League Team. In 2017, he would later take his talents to the European circuit and joined BBC AS Soleuvre in Luxembourg. As a prolific guard, he averaged 29.2 PPG/7 RPG/2 APG that year. The overall stats for Soleuvre for the year was 21 wins and 9 losses. The following years, he joined BC Silute in Lithuania as the 6th man.

In 2019, Ky would return to Luxembourg under contractual obligation to BC Mess. He averaged 26 PPG. BC Mess would go on to have a successful season.
