Kyle Coburn

Kyle Coburn enters his second year on the Hilltop in 2022-23 and his first as volunteer assistant coach.

In his first season at USF in 2021-22, Coburn served as the director of baseball operations. Overall, Coburn was responsible for coordinating team travel, budget planning, on-campus recruiting and the day-to-day operations for the baseball program.

A Southern California native, Coburn attended Huntington Beach High School and was the starting second baseman for the Oilers 2015 CIF Championship team. In 2020-21, Coburn returned to the program as the assistant junior varsity coach. Coburn graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Oregon in 2019 and earned his master's degree in sport management from USF in December of 2022.

From the day I was hired, Kyle has been extremely helpful to me in every single aspect of the process of trying to get the program back up and running. He has shown loyalty to the direction we are headed and I am extremely excited for his role to grow here in the program."
