Lauren Nadler begins her first year as UC Santa Cruz's Head Coach after serving as an assistant the 2016 season.

She came to UC Santa Cruz after previously serving as the Interim Head Coach for the Dominican University women's soccer program. Prior to Dominican, Nadler coached at the City College of San Francisco. While an assistant, City College made it to the Final Four of the State Championship and was ranked No. 4 in the country. Before relocating to the Bay Area she was the Associate Head Women’s Soccer Coach at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She coached at MIT starting in August 2008 and was an integral part of the team's success including its 2009 & 2011 NEWMAC Championships, and NCAA tournament appearances in 2009, 2011 and 2012, when the team advanced to the Sweet 16. With Nadler on the bench, MIT finished her last four seasons at the school ranked in the top-10 in New England, including No. 15 in the country in 2012 and set the record for winningest coaching staff in program history.

Nadler is the owner of Dynamic Training, a small business which offers individual and small group soccer training, developing comprehensive training plans to fit each players’ needs. As a player at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, Nadler was a two-year captain and finished in the top-10 in the North Atlantic Conference for assists her senior year. She also received an NSCAA Academic Award and was a selected to the conference All-Academic Team her junior and senior years. Nadler graduated from Lesley with a Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her education at Tufts University where she earned a Master's degree in urban and environmental policy and planning. Nadler holds a NSCAA National Diploma.
