Lee Winston

Lee Winston is an Assistant Golf Professional at Bayou Oaks at City Park and serves as assistant coach for Nike Junior Golf Camps.

Lee was born and raised in New Milford, Connecticut and attended the Professional Golfer Career College in Hilton Head, South Carolina. He graduated at the top of his class earning Valedictorian honors and receiving an associate degree in Professional Golf Management. While in school he worked as outside operations staff at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort on Hilton Head. Upon graduation he was promoted as one of the Assistant Professionals. He most recently accepted an Assistant Professional job at Bayou Oaks at City Park in New Orleans. Lee is currently enrolled in level 1 of the PGA/PGM program and hopes to become a Head Professional in the future. His joy in golf is teaching and club fitting. He has volunteered his time to the First Tee of the Low Country, IJGT tournaments, and the Heritage PGA event at Harbour Towne. He is a certified KBS and True Temper shaft fitter and was certified thru the First Tee and El’s for Autism in the correct way to teach the game of golf to children with Autism.
