Lena Perry
Associate Head Coach of the Sierra Canyon Girls Soccer Team

Lena Perry played for Sierra Canyon High School, CA where she is now working as the Associate Head Soccer Coach for the Sierra Canyon HS Girl’s Varsity Team.
While at SC, she earned several 1st Team All-Alpha honors and helped lead the Trailblazers for a CIF Division IV Championship; while also playing for Sherman Oaks Extreme in Los Angeles, CA. She was awarded the Trailblazer Award for her student-athlete accomplishments, along with the Athlete Award for also being apart of the Varsity Volleyball Team, Swim Team, Track & Field Team, and Dance Team. At the DI level, she played soccer at UOP, along with 3 years of Track & Field where she holds the school record in the high jump, 4x100m, and 100m hurdles. In soccer, she lead the WCC in 2015 and 2016 in saves-per-game, and will leave Pacific with the 5th most saves at 179. Some other records was that she was 6th in the nation for DI saves-per-game (~8), was nominated for top #5 WCC player of the week, and was awarded Hero Sports HERO of the week against #18UCONN recording 16 saves with one goal against. She graduated Cum Laude in May’17 with a BA in Health, Exercises and Sport Sciences as a Sports Medicine major and Business Minor, and Summa Cum Laude in May’19 with a MA in Exercise Physiology. Along with being at Sierra Canyon, she also works soccer clinics at Mamba Sports Academy and the LA Goalkeeping Academy. She enjoys working on the mental/strategic aspect of the game in her trainings, highlighting not only cognition or reaction during agile resistance training, but also focuses on game-like footwork and distribution. Along with coaching, she is also NASM CPT certified and can aid with strength training/recovery.
