Assistant Coach
Lexi Brown
Brown came to Gonzaga after spending two seasons as an assistant at Utah Valley University.
In her first season as an assistant coach at Utah Valley in 2015, Brown helped the Wolverines to their most successful season in school history. The team won a school-record 14 matches, went unbeaten (9-0-1) at home, won the WAC Tournament championship and made its first-ever appearance at the NCAA Tournament.
As a student-athlete, Brown led Utah Valley to 13 wins in 2014 and anchored the Wolverine defense to a school-record nine shutouts. Her defensive effort earned her WAC Defensive Player of the Year and first team all-WAC honors.
Brown played in 80 matches for UVU, making a school-record 75 starts. She registered seven goals, eight assists, 22 points, 115 shots and 48 shots on goal during her time at UVU. She was a two-time all-conference honoree.
Brown was also impressive in the classroom, earning three academic all-conference honors. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in exercise science and outdoor recreation from Utah Valley in 2015.
