Lindsay Kuhle is the head coach for University of Denver Women's Golf and will be entering her eighth season as head coach in 2019-20.

Kuhle was named the second women's golf head coach at the University of Denver in February, 2013. Kuhle (Hulwick) spent seven seasons on the DU staff from 2005-12, including three as an associate head coach. Kuhle also spent the 2012-13 season at the University of Georgia as an assistant coach.

Kuhle's guidance of the Pioneers in her first campaign saw her recognized as the WAC Coach of the Year in 2013 and the Summit League Coach of the Year in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019 to go along with six conference/league championships.

During her 14 years with the Crimson and Gold, Denver has always finished inside the top 75 in the Golfstat/Golfweek rankings.

Kuhle once again had her team ready for the big stage in 2018-19, leading the Crimson and Gold back to the championship level that the program has been accustomed to, winning the Summit League Championship for the fifth time in six years since joining the league back in 2013, leading to a birth in the NCAA Auburn Regional, the Pioneers' 18th straight appearance in a regional.

Her infectious coaching style again yielded high-level results, highlighted by junior Mary Weinstein being named Summit League Golfer of the Year after winning Championship MVP honors at the league championship in Newton, Kan. Kuhle herself was also rewarded by the league, earning her sixth coach of the year award (five with the Summit League, one with the WAC) in her prestigious career.

The trio of Sophie Newlove, Camille Enright and Weinstein earned All-Summit League First Team honors under Kuhle's watchful eye, while freshman Alyson Bean was a second-team selection.

Not only a success on the course, the Pioneers posted their best year academically in the classroom, putting up a program-record 3.738 team GPA, which included five players earning WGCA All-American Scholar honors.

The Pioneers set a new single-season record for stroke average in 2017-18 at 296.06. DU won back-to-back team titles in the fall at the Golfweek Conference Challenge and the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate, their own tournament. Denver climbed to as high as No. 18 in the country during the fall portion of the schedule.

Kuhle once again had the Pioneers primed for NCAA Regional play, tying for 12th at the tournament in the Tallahassee regional. The sixth-year head coach also helped her girls reach their peak, resulting in four All-Summit League selections.

The Crimson and Gold kept up the tradition of success in 2016-17. Denver was able to rally in the final round of the Summit League Championship to lock up its fourth straight league championship. The Pioneers then posted a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Regional, its highest since 2010. Kuhle's coaching also led to three golfers earning All-Summit League status.

DU continued its dominant ways during the 2015-16 en route to securing its third straight league championship. Denver set a league record for lowest team score in a 54-hole tournament at 878. The Pioneers also had three golfers earn All-Summit League honors, including Jessica Carty being named Summit League Golfer of the Year. Kuhle also coached four members of the team that made the WGCA All-American Scholar team.

The 2014-2015 season was a banner year for the Pioneers as Kuhle coached five All-Summit League performers, two All-Tournament team members, the Summit League Individual Champion, the Summit League Team Champions and two WGCA Academic All-Americans.

In 2013-2014 season, Kuhle guided five All-Conference Summit League performers, four All-Tournament team members, the Summit League Individual Champion, Summit League Team Champions, and two WGCA Academic- All Americans, three players named to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence team, as well as Tonje Daffinrud to WGCA First Team All-American and named Summit League Player of the year, Mariell Bruun was named Summit League Newcomer of the year, and was named Summit League Coach of the year in 2014 .

In 2014, Kuhle coached Tonje Daffinrud to a national appearance at the NCAA Championship in Tulsa as an individual. Daffinrud was a two-time All-American selection and last year a First Team NGCA All-American.

Daffinrud, senior had seven Top-12 finishes, the lowest season scoring average in Pioneer history, 72.21, and was the 9th best player in Golfstat Individual rankings for the 2013-2014 season. She was also named to the Summit League All-Academic team.

In 2013 as first year head coach, coached four All-Conference WAC performers, WAC Individual Champion, WAC Team Champion, and 4 WGCA Academic-All Americans, Tonje Daffinrud to the Golfweek All-American team, and was named WAC Coach of the year in 2013.

During her first stint at DU, Kuhle (Hulwick) helped the Pioneers to seven straight Sun Belt Conference Championships and seven consecutive Regional Championship appearances, as well as the program's first-ever regional crown at the 2008-09 East Regional in Gainesville, Fla.

Kuhle (Hulwick) also helped the Pioneers to three straight NCAA National Championship appearances (2006-07, 2007-08 and 2008-09) and once as individual (2009-10), including the program's best finish of fifth at the 2009 Championships. As an associate head coach, she coached two All-Americans; Stephanie Sherlock, a three time NGCA All-American and Dawn Shockley.

Since 2005, she has coached 5 WGCA All-Americans, 35 WGCA All-Scholar athletes, 10 conference team champions, 24 team titles, 17 individual titles, and 12 years (2005-2015, 2017-2018) end of season National Golfstat ranking in the top 55.

Kuhle (Hulwick) came to Denver after a very successful college career at Tulane, where she was an all-conference performer all four years, including a first team all-conference selection as a sophomore. She was also named Tulane Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2005. A native of Colorado, Hulwick graduated in 2005 from Tulane with a Bachelor of Science in management with a concentration in finance.

It was during her time at Tulane where she made her mark on the golf course. She qualified for three consecutive U.S. Women's Amateur Championships from 2002-04 and finished as the low amateur at the 2004 Colorado Women's Open.

In 2005, she won the Colorado Women's State Amateur Stroke Play. She was a first-team All-Conference USA selection in 2003, a second-team selection in 2004 and a third team selection in 2005. She also helped her team to the first of back-to-back conference championships. In her four-year career with the Green Wave, Kuhle (Hulwick) recorded 14 top-10 finishes, a tournament win at the 2002 Green Wave Classic in New Orleans, La., and finished with a 76.85 scoring average. In 2005, Kuhle was named the Tulane University student-female athlete of the year. That year she played in the NCAA Tournament and helped Tulane to a 15th place result.

Excellent in the classroom as well, Kuhle (Hulwick) was on the Tulane Athletic 3.0 GPA or Above Club all four years, made the Dean's List on six separate occasions, and was named a National Golf Coaches Association Academic All-American her senior year.

A very successful junior golfer, Kuhle (Hulwick) has been taught by one of the country's finest golf teachers, Mike McGetrick, since she was 10 years old. She attended Heritage High School where she finished second in the state championship in 2000 and third in 1998. She was a member of the Colorado Junior America's Cup team from 1998-2001 and qualified for two U.S. Junior Amateur Championships, in 1998 and 2001. In 2000, she won the Colorado Junior Amateur Championship.

Kuhle has been an LPGA member since 2007 and is a Class A teaching and club professional. She has her master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology form the University of Denver, serves on the NCAA women’s golf awards committee, is a member of the NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy and a recent graduate of the academy (class 47) in 2019.

Kuhle's (Hulwick) older brother John, played for the DU men's team from 1999-2002. She is married to A.J. Kuhle, who is a military veteran, played for the San Antonio Spurs, and took his college team to the NCAA Tournament his senior year in 2004. He was a former assistant coach at Air Force and DU. He was also the head coach at De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif and currently the boy’s basketball coach at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, CO.

The couple have a daughter, Lucy Elizabeth Kuhle, who was born in October of 2014. and son, Jordan, born in August of 2017.
