Started paying pickleball in the summer of 2017, and quickly became addicted to the game. I played my first US Open Pickleball Championship in 2018, and won a bronze medal in singles. In the past 2 years, I have competed in several local, state and national tournaments, and have won several medals, many of them with Marina Ohlmuller. My biggest asset on the pickleball court is my touch and my dinks. My message to everyone new to pickleball - don't judge an opponent by how they hold the paddle or hit the ball. There are many successful pickleball competitors who come from all kinds of backgrounds - respect them all.
