Malcolm Wynn

Malcolm Wynn is the former Head Men's Basketball Coach at Curry College.

His 2012-2013 team went 21-8 and 15-3 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. Curry won both the regular-season and conference tournament titles. The 21 overall wins and 15 CCC wins were both school records, marking the second time that Wynn led his squad to a league title and an NCAA Tournament appearance.

Wynn's coaching resume stretches all the way back to 1984, when he began a 13-year stint as varsity assistant and junior varsity head coach at Brookline (Mass.) High School. In 1994, Wynn also took on the head coaching duties at Roxbury Community College (RCC), and quickly brought himself and the Tigers to national prominence in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Over the course of seven seasons, he compiled a stellar 142-42 (.771) record. Wynn led RCC to the 2000 NJCAA Division III National Championship and was subsequently named as NJCAA National Coach of the Year. One year later, he guided the Tigers to a 31-1 record and third-place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament. Starting in 1996, his teams won four NJCAA State Championships and five NJCAA Region XXI Championships. Wynn was also a four-time recipient of both NJCAA Region XXI and District 8 Coach of the Year honors.

Currently a resident of Cambridge, Mass., he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Illinois State University in 1978.
