Maria is an Accomplished Golf Instructor. She has been teaching golf to students of all ages for 28+ years. She has received many accolades acknowledging her as one of the top golf instructors in the Midwest. These include:
- Top 50 LPGA Teacher 2008-present
- Was the first Golf Channel Academy Lead Instructor for St. Louis
- LPGA Midwest Section Teacher of the Year in 2008, 2011, 2013, 2015 ,2016 & 2018
