Marina Denmore
Assistant Coach

A native of Vancouver, British Colombia, Demore joins Garza coaching staff after spending a season at Northern Kentucky University serving as a pitching coach.
Coach Demore also served as a graduate student manager at Fresno State from 2018-2020, where she focused on day-to-day softball operations, game and practice analytics, served as the pre and post-game video manager, and assisted with facility and game management.
Prior to Fresno State, Demore worked as a Volunteer Coach under Coach Garza at University of California, Riverside in 2016, and was an Assistant Coach at Loyola University Chicago in 2015.
A former softball student-athlete at Oregon State, Demore helped her team to back-to-back NCAA regionals in 2012 and 2013. As a member of Team Canada, Demore participated in the 2013 Pan American Games, placing second in the rankings.
Demore earned a Bachelor's degree from Oregon State in biology in 2014, and continued her academic career in Fresno State, earning a Master's degree in kinesiology.
