Directing camp this summer is long time director Marissa Eng. Coach Eng has been on staff with Nike Swim Camp since 2013 and began directing her own camps in 2014.
Coach Marissa Eng swam competitively for the Corvallis Aquatic Team while growing up. After earning league MVP her senior year of high school, Coach Eng joined the OSU's Women Swim Team (2005-2009).
She helped her team beat their rival the Washington Huskies for the first time in twenty-three years. Her summers were spent coaching youth swimmers ranging from novice to advanced levels at the Corvallis Aquatic Team.
Upon graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Sports and Science with an emphasis in Physical Education, Coach Eng returned to her high school swim team at Philomath High to serve as an assistant coach. After completing two years, she was then appointed into her current position as head coach, which she has held for the last couple of years. Coach Eng also coaches the Philomath Division squad of the Corvallis Aquatic Team. This will be Coach Eng's second year with the Nike Swimming Camps.
