Matt Daly

Matt has over 17 years of International hockey experience behind him, 10 years of which were spent in the England and GB National team in which he amassed over 160 international caps in which time he scored more than 60 goals.
Matt is now a full-time sports teacher and hockey coach in London, supporting the development of junior and senior elite hockey players. He also still plays competitively in the English National League.
During his time on the National Team, Matt competed in two Olympic Games (Beijing and London), 4 European Championships (winning a gold in 2009 and bronze in 2011), two Champions Trophies, a World Cup and a Commonwealth Games.
Matt plays his club hockey with Surbiton where he has been a member of the 1st XI for the past 16 years scoring over 200 goals in the meantime.
Having retired from International Hockey in 2013, Matt is now a full-time sports teacher and hockey coach in London, supporting the development of junior and senior elite hockey players. He also still plays competitively in the English National League.
