Matt Dettman

Coach Matt Dettman has worked with the Lincoln Cluster running program the last three years. During that time, he’s worked with 6th-8th grade boys and girls and helped them develop the necessary skills to improve their running form and times.

Under his guidance, the girls have won one district championship and had one individual district champion and the boys have finished top three at districts. Both the boys and girls are poised for continued success. He formerly ran for the University of Oregon and York Community High School and had the opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious coaches in America. He believes developing the right skills, both mentally and physically, at a young age, leads to continued success as a student athlete in their future endeavors.
