Matt Dsida joined the Amherst College cross country coaching staff in September of 2024.
Dsida spent 4 years as the Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Rhodes College. Over his previous four seasons, Dsida served as the cross country and track and field distance assistant and recruiting coordinator. During his time at Rhodes, the Lynx claimed three SAA Conference Championships.

Dsida came to Rhodes from Lipscomb University, where he served as a volunteer assistant coach for one year. During his time at Lipscomb he aided Head Coach Nick Polk with recruiting efforts and the coordination of distance workouts.
Prior to Lipscomb, Dsida taught high-school Statistics and was assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach for Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN). There he assisted the Honeybears to a State Championship in Track and Field and two State Runner up trophies in Cross Country.
Dsida is a 2016 graduate of Rhodes College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He was an individual conference champion in the 1500, and a part of the Lynx All Conference 4x400 team in 2016. Additionally, Dsida is a two-time School Record holder (Mile, DMR) and was a part of three Conference Championship teams for the Lynx.
Dsida earned his Master degree from Belmont University where he used the remaining season of his eligibility to become an OVC All Conference Athlete. He holds a USA Track & Field Level 1 Certification.
