Matt Vogel
Head Camp Coach
Matt Vogel, a former professional pitcher and Team USA alum who blends elite-level experience with a passion for youth development. From pitching in Triple-A with the Baltimore Orioles to representing Team USA at the Junior Olympics and being drafted twice (Arizona Diamondbacks in 2013 and Tampa Bay Rays in 2016), Matt brings a rare level of expertise to every athlete he trains.
Matt’s coaching goes beyond mechanics. He specializes in relating to players on a personal level, allowing kids to be kids while helping them grow as athletes and individuals. His sessions build confidence, character, and a deep love for the game.
With 9 years of coaching experience, Matt has developed players from 9U through 17U, coached travel baseball every offseason while playing, and currently serves as the Varsity Baseball Coach at Heathwood Hall in Columbia, South Carolina. His proudest coaching moments include mentoring players who advanced to play at the college level and guiding a first-year 11U team through a season of consistent growth.
