Melissa Kulhavy is a Nike Volleyball Camp Director.
Melissa was born and raised in Casper, WY, and has been teaching elementary school in Casper for 13 years. For the past 20 years, she has devoted her life to empowering volleyball players and students to recognize and utilize their inner abilities, whether in the classroom or on the court.
During college Melissa played intramural sports and coached through the Garden Creek Volleyball Club for 6 years. While with GCVC, she led 3 different 12U teams to the state championship, two with undefeated seasons. Since then, she has coached at the elementary and middle school levels. She loves introducing girls to the sport of volleyball and working on foundational skills. All the while, fine tuning their mechanics for successful offense and defensive play. Melissa’s expertise lies in building individual confidence through foundational skill focus, fostering team collaboration, and achieving tangible results based on self-discipline and court time exposure.
