While on the sidelines with the women’s lacrosse team in 2003 and 2004, the Generals went a combined 30-7, winning the ODAC tournament both years and advancing to the NCAA Division III regional semifinals. The squad posted a perfect 8-0 mark in ODAC play in 2003 before finishing 7-1 during the 2004 campaign.

On the field hockey sideline, the 2002 and 2003 squads posted identical 10-9 marks, including going 6-3 in the ODAC and advancing to the conference semifinals.

The recipient of the NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women’s Enhancement Grant in 2002, she also worked as an athletic administrative intern during her two years at Washington and Lee.

In addition to her time with the Generals and Royals, Miranda Jones has served as a coach with the United States Field Hockey Futures Program since 2002 in addition to working numerous camps and at the U.S. Field Hockey National Hockey Festival in 2002 and 2004.

In addition to earning a bachelor of science in physical education from Longwood in 1999, she earned her master of science degree in athletic administration and coaching from James Madison in May 2006.

Jones resides in Westminster with her husband, Bryan. The couple gave birth to their first child, Ellyson, in October 2012 and welcomed their second, Archer, in November 2014.
