Coach DeSantis attended and graduated from West Broward High School in Pembroke Pines FL. There, he made All-County first team and played in the Florida All-State Game.
After high school, he made his way to Southeastern CC, where he started as a freshman and sophomore playing center field and hitting leadoff. His team made it to the Jr. College World Series his sophomore year. He then transferred to Georgetown University where he played right field both junior and senior year. Coach DeSantis graduated from Georgetown with an Exercise Science degree and was invited back to Georgetown to be the Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach. Over the past four years, Coach DeSantis has been coaching in North Carolina where he successfully built a baseball program and served on the board at the local Cal Ripken Little League.
