Michael Kim is an assistant instructor for the Nike Junior Golf Camps.
Mike Kim grew up in the Bay Area and began playing golf at age 14. He joined the PGA apprentice program in 2000 while attending San Jose State and working at Santa Clara Golf Course. While working at the course, he began learning about the golf business and eventually started teaching in 2001. He fell in love with it. In 2005, he became a full-time instructor and has been teaching since then. Over the years, Mike has given thousands of lessons and trained with many top Northern California Golf Professionals.
Mike really loves the game and enjoys teaching it to others. His teaching approach is grounded in the fundamentals as he knows they are the foundation to developing a good golf game. He helps each student set and then achieve their golf goals. Although Mike works with all age and skill levels, he has a particular passion around working with junior golfers and has helped many of these kids rise through junior, high school and college golf programs.
