Michael Wudel
Assistant Coach

Michael Wudel joined the women’s basketball coaching staff in the fall of 2022 after spending the past four seasons as a student-athlete on the Lewis & Clark men's basketball team and working as a lead student in Gameday Operations assisting Associate Director of Physical Education & Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator Sharon Sexton.
A 2022 Lewis & Clark graduate in Rhetoric and Media Studies, Wudel is still fully ingrained in the local basketball community and he has been a staple in the Nike Basketball Camps at Lewis & Clark since 2019. He has been a head coach in the Lake Oswego youth basketball program, the Lady Fly 16u select team, a site manager and referee for I9 Sports, as well as personal training and coaching at Shoot360 Beaverton. Wudel has trained and educated numerous student-athletes on the fundamentals of the game and cultivated practice plans and game strategies.
Before attending Lewis & Clark, Wudel was raised in Vacaville, California, where he graduated from Will C. Wood High School. Michael was on the varsity team for three years, is the school's all-time leader in 3pt FG%, and earned All-Monticello Empire League Honors.
