Mikayla Knudson

Mikayla Knudson is the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach for University of Wisconsin – Stout and serves as a lead coach for Next Athletes and Nike Girls Lacrosse Camps.
Mikayla Knudson was named the second University of Wisconsin-Stout women’s lacrosse head coach in July 2024.
UW-STOUT (2024-Present)
BEFORE UW-STOUT
- Augsburg University (2021-24) Knudson served as head coach of the Auggies from October 2023 to July 2024 after serving as an assistant during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. She assisted the program in all aspects, including recruiting, scouting, scheduling, practice- and game-planning, travel accommodations, managing the team’s budget.
- Elk River High School (2019-23) Knudson spent five seasons as an assistant coach.
- Knudson has also spent time as the head coach for eight seasons with the Elk River Youth Lacrosse Association.
PLAYING CAREER
- Augsburg University (2017-21) A five-year player for the Auggies, Knudson played in 65 games and tallied 90 goals and 17 assists for a total of 107 points throughout her career and earned Honorable Mention All-MWLC in 2019 and All-MWLC Second-Team honors in 2021. Knudson tied the Augsburg single-game records with nine points and seven goals against Monmouth College on March 31, 2019.
PERSONAL
- A Zimmerman, Minn. native, Knudson earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in psychology from Augsburg University in 2020 and Master’s Certificate of Leadership from Augsburg in 2021.
