Mike Beers

Mike Beers is the Chief Operating Officer of Pro Level Training and the Nike Basketball Camp Director and Skills Coach at Broadalbin-Perth High School. Coach Beers is a former Broadalbin-Perth student and Siena College graduate.

College Coaching Career Highlights:

Fulton Montgomery Community College (Head Assistant)

Breaking out in my first year of coaching at Fulton Montgomery I learned how to recruit and manage players who had the skill set to be at a scholarship level school but did not have the grades to be accepted. I dealt with the challenge of explaining how to reach the next level both on the floor and inside the classroom. I was taught from many different coaches in how to be successful at this. Being able to learn from my experiences and turn them into a teaching tool was the hardest but the most rewarding for me.

Schenectady County Community College (Head Assistant)

At Schenectady helped improve the program to have the best GPA for the basketball team in school history and help players move from a 2 year program to a four year program. Also helped the team with a losing record to a three year winning record with one year’s being best in school history (19-12). Responsibilities were helping students prepare for games with scouting, running practice and handling study halls each day.
