His Chihuahuas club won the Pacific Coast League East Division with a record of 85-65 ... Spent a month of the off-season working for the Fukuoka Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball.
• 2018-21: Spent the first 4 years of his coaching career with the Minnesota Twins, serving as the bullpen coach for Triple-A Rochester (2018-19) and the pitching coach for Triple-A St. Paul ... Was slated to be Rochester’s pitching coach in 2020, but the season was canceled due to COVID-19.
• Playing Career: Selected by the Boston Red Sox in the 14th round of the 2011 Draft out of California State University, Bakersfield ... Pitched for 6 seasons in the Red Sox organization, reaching as high as Triple-A Pawtucket in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
