Monica Armstrong

Coach Armstrong joins the Banana Slugs from the University of Colorado. She worked for six years for the women's basketball program first as an academic mentor and then as the Recruiting Coordinator and Special Assistant.

Prior to Colorado, she was an assistant at Mt. San Antonio College in southern California and was head coach for West Coast Premier basketball Academy for seven years.

She and her wife Akilah Bradley-Armstrong, UC Santa Cruz's Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Success, live in Santa Cruz with their daughter.
