Monique Demaisip

Monique Demaisip is in her second season as the diving coach at Pepperdine in 2022-23. Demaisip helped the Waves win their first-ever PCSC championship in 2022.

Prior to arriving in Malibu, Demaisip was a diving coach for the Mission Viejo Nadadores in Mission Viejo, Calif., coaching divers ranging from beginners to Olympic hopefuls. She also has experience as a professional diver, competing in international springboard events for the Philippines National Team. Her role with the Philippines National Team extended beyond competition, as she was a team leader for the Phillippines as well. In this role, Demaisip completed administrative work, attended international competitions as a team representative and served as a translator for teammates and coaches.

Demaisip received her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Northwestern University in June 2018, where she was a captain and four-year member of the swim and dive team. While attending Northwestern, Demaisip helped out at the Chicago Dive Club in Evanston, Ill., during the school year, and coached diving and gymnastics over multiple summers at Pacific Diving and Gymnastics Academy in Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
