Myneshia Mckenzie

MyNeshia Mckenzie is a former professional basketball player having played in Portugal & Romania. While overseas in Portugal she earned All-League honors. Her goal is to teach players the skills and mentality needed to get to the next level.

MyNeshia McKenzie enters her second season as assistant women's basketball coach with the 2018-19 season.

McKenzie came to Holy Family after spending three seasons overseas playing professional basketball. Her most recent stop was with the Phoenix Galati in Romania where she led the team in scoring and rebounding. She earned All-Import and All-League first team honors and was named Forward of the Year.

In 2017 she started at Holy Family after spending the past three seasons overseas playing professional basketball. Her most recent stop was with the Phoenix Galati in Romania where she led the team in scoring and rebounding. She earned All-Import and All-League first team honors and was named Forward of the Year.

Prior to her two-year stint with the Galati, McKenzie played for Boa Viagem in Portugal during the 2014-15 season. She finished the season leading the team in scoring and rebounding and earned All-Import and All-League first team accolades.

McKenzie played collegiately at Rider University (2010-14) and went on to finish her four-year career as the program's all-time leader in rebounds with 1,143. She also ranks third in program history with 1,619 career points and is just one of two players to record 1,000 points and rebounds. McKenzie earned All-MAAC first team honors during her junior and senior seasons.

She graduated from Rider in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication.
