Neil Hilton - Camp Director

Neil Hilton completed his first year as the Oklahoma Christian head men's soccer coach during the 2024 fall season.

In Hilton's first year at the helm, OC matched its most Lone Star Conference wins (3) since joining the league in 2019. Under Hilton, the Eagles produced an historical 2024 freshman class, landing three players on the LSC All-Freshman Team - the second-most All-Freshman recipients in the league - including Freshman of the Year goalkeeper Pepe Hinterschuster.

The postseason awards in Hilton's inaugural year at the helm was capped off with midfielder Joep Classeen receiving First Team All-LSC honors as well as D2CCA Second Team All-Region accolades, while defender Renato Disha was named CSC Academic All-District.

Hilton (2009-12) returned to his alma mater after a stellar four-year playing career as a midfielder for the Eagles back when Oklahoma Christian was a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), earning All-Sooner Athletic Conference Second Team honors as a junior and All-SAC First Team honors as a senior.

The Liverpool, England, native tied a single-season school record with 11 assists in 2011 and added six goals, helping the Eagles post an 8-6-4 mark and reach the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament. A four-year starter, Hilton finished his OC career with 20 goals and 25 assists.

Following his playing career, Hilton remained in the Sooner State, serving as the head coach at Yukon High School for nine years while also being a Special Education Teacher. During his stint at the high school coaching ranks, Hilton served as an assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Energy in the United Soccer League in 2017.

Prior to joining the OC men's soccer coaching ranks, Hilton spent the last three years at MidAmerica Christian University, including serving as the head coach in 2023. In his three years with the Evangels, Hilton compiled a 55-3-7 record, making three consecutive trips to the NAIA National Tournament.

In his one year as MidAmerica's head coach, Hilton led MACU to a 17-0-4 record while capturing the Sooner Athletic Conference regular season and SAC Tournament championships. During the dominant 2023 season, the Evangels spent eight weeks at No. 1 in the NAIA national rankings.

Hilton graduated from Oklahoma Christian with his bachelor's degree in 2012 and later his master's degree in 2014. While getting his master's, Hilton worked for two seasons as an assistant coach for the Oklahoma Christian women's soccer team after serving as a student assistant for the Eagles in 2012.
