Neil Watson - Director of TEEA Time Building Champions - (Homefield KC)

Neil Watson was born and raised in Kansas City, KS. He played high school basketball and graduated from Sumner Academy. Neil had many offers to play at many colleges but decided to stay close to home and attended Coffeyville Community College. Coach Watson later attended college at Southern Miss on a basketball scholarship, where he was coached by Larry Eustachy. Watson helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 25-9 record and an NCAA Tournament berth! He was ranked 4th in the nation in Free Throw Percentage (92%). Watson was also a named starter in the Reese’s NCCAA Basketball All-Star Game!

Coach Watson played professionally for the U.K.'s oldest professional basketball team, the Leicester Riders. He departed Leicester Riders at the end of the 2015–16 season, eventually joining Glasgow Rocks also in the British Basketball League (BBL).

At the start of the 2017 Season Watson joined the Plymouth Raiders and was brought in following his success and experience within the British Basketball League (BBL).

In 2019 Coach Watson founded TeeaTime basketball to provide training and coaching to youth players in Kansas City who are willing to put in the Time, Energy, Effort and Attitude. Teaching them at early ages how to be mentally tough while learning how to use the skills they learn, in game time situation. He achieves to inspire the love they have for the game while keeping it fun.
