Camp Director

Nick Geyer - Camp Director

Nick Geyer brings a wealth of golf related experience including his three years as a professional golfer from 2010-2012 on the eGolf Professional Tour. Prior to joining the USD staff he had been a Master Fitter and Pro Tour/Consumer Builder with Wilson Staff since January, 2015. Since 2012 he has been the Senior Director of Rules and Competition for Sun Country Golf House.

Geyer competed for the University of New Mexico from 2005-2010. During his time with the Lobos he won medalist honors at the 2009 National Invitational Tournament, was a two-time Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar-Athlete, and competed in the 2010 NCAA West Regional (tie-21st), as well as the NCAA Championship. He graduated with a Degree in Communications from UNM in 2009.

As an amateur currently, Geyer's 2014 golf season was highlighted by an appearance at the USGA U.S. Mid-Amateur where he advanced to the round of 32 in Match Play. He also represented New Mexico in the USGA State Team Competition, as a part of the best finish for the state of New Mexico in the history of the Championship. Earlier, in his professional career, he had great play on the eGolf Pro Tour, as well as the Hooters Professional tour, but a highlight came at the 2010 PGA Tour Q-School Pre-Qualifying round, where he finished and won the stage with a course record score of 63 in the final round.

From Agoura Hills, California, he attended Viewpoint High School where he was a four-time MVP of the golf team.
